The Center for Inclusive Public Life (CIPL) is a non-partisan, non-profit organization dedicated to researching, advocating, teaching and practicing public life concepts, strategies and activities that foster a fully inclusive 21st Century democratic society in the United States. CIPL strives to elevate key inclusive public life concepts to national consciousness and dialogue for the purpose of improving human relationships in public spheres. Using interdisciplinary methodologies, CIPL explores theory, policy and practice in order to advance framing systems governing public spheres that deeply align with universal human aspirations to belong to inclusive, supportive communities.
CIPL aspires to foster a 21st Century democratic society in which all members within communities shape public life.
CIPL seeks to create opportunities for all individuals in communities to understand, practice, teach, and serve as leaders of inclusive public life.
The work to advance inclusive public leadership concepts in our society is never-ending. Over the years we have strived to help leaders better understand how to effectively build inclusive public spaces. We are just beginning and are encouraged by those who have learned with us and from whom we have learned along the way.
We are in the pre pre development stages of an app project we call Toludo, an online place to meet & rally for change. Our vision is to create a civic social media platform where you can build your civic (public) network project-by-project, learn, plan, and act together. After launch, we want Toludo to become the home for all things related to individual public action and public life. Wherever public leadership is working to build an inclusive society, they will rely on Toludo to make that change happen.
